estimates for how much the suggestion would cost. In keeping with good value, please provide more than one estimate.
These can then be presented and voted on at the April village meeting to expedite the spending.

West Stafford Village Meeting held on Friday 1st November 2024

For those new to the village or may not be aware, a Parish Council precept is a local tax that Parish Councils in England and Wales charge their residents. This tax is added to the council tax bill and is used to fund the parish council’s budget for providing various local services and facilities. Parish Councils do not receive direct funding from the central government, so they rely on the precept to cover expenses for services such as maintaining playing fields and open spaces.

West Stafford Village Hall Management Committee

We are looking for new members.

West Stafford Village Hall is a Registered Charity (301198) governed by a Board of Trustees who delegate day to day management to a Management Committee.

The Management Committee is made up of volunteers. It is responsible for the day to day running of the village hall.   To cover the running costs, the Committee gets income mainly from the hiring of the hall and donations. However, to enable the facilities it provides to be updated and improved more income is needed and this is provided by the Committee’s fundraising activities.

The Management Committee meets at the village hall monthly.  The Annual General Meeting is held in March and all West Stafford residents are welcome.

If you would like to join the Committee you will be welcomed with open arms. Just contact  Karen Jones kjones060@gmail.com
